About Zumba*
Only Certified and Licensed Zumba Instructor(s) conduct bi-weekly classes at our premises.
Zumba is an exercise fitness program created by Colombian aerobics instructor, dancer and choreographer Alberto "Beto" Pérez during the 1990s. Zumba choreography is composed using all or some of the sixteen core steps based on the four basic rhythms: salsa, reggaeton, merengue and cumbia - and each basic rhythm has four core steps. Zumba has a versatile and gradeable fitness workout program and the classes can be geared up for various levels of fitness.
Unlike a regular excercise and aerobics class, timing or synchronization of steps does not have to be perfect. The steps and actions are free flowing and after a Zumba class, you’ll feel more like you enjoyed time at a party. Zumba is an aerobic activity that can count toward the amount of aerobic excercise recommended for most healthy adults depending on their fitness level.
Zumba is taught by qualified, trained, experienced, certified and licensed Zumba professionals for the benefit of our patrons. Currently these are on hold as the on-premise operations have not yet resumed due to the current pandemic situation. Keepfit Aerobics Center is in no way associated with or authorized to represent Zumba Fitness and we facilitate the services through independent, licensed Zumba professionals.
